Ruggles 70g Stable Rug for Shetland Pony, Donkey & Miniature Horse - Lightweight

The Shetland-miniature-donkey 70g stable rug in fun cow print fabric is a smart and versatile rug as can be used on own in warmer months or as part of a layering system in colder weather. The rug is suitable for Shetland ponies, miniature horses, donkeys and small ponies such as Section A's.

The stable rug has a soft shiny lining to help prevent rubbing and keep the coat smooth. There are generous shoulder gussets which allow freer movement and this in turn helps to prevent rubbing and friction to the coat. 

The rug has double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help prevent unfastening. A tail flap and fillet string are fitted which can be useful for keeping clean or for those who tend to rub.

At the chest there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips – the advantage of this being that once the straps are adjusted to the right size putting the rug on and off at the chest is quick and easy as just two clips to attach. This feature is particularly appreciated in colder weather! There is also Velcro at the chest for extra security. 

The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles – ideal for storing the rug when not in use.
