Could This Connector Be Used on My Vehicle?
- This adapter cable is all II compliant vehicles. All 1996 and newer vehicles (cars and light trucks) sold in the United States must compliant and this includes all domestic, European vehicles.
- of 1994 and 1995 model year gasoline vehicles are II compliant. Please check the Vehicle Emissions Control Information () Label which is located under the or by the of most vehicles. If the vehicle is II compliant, the label will designate " II Certified". Additionally, regulations mandate that all II compliant vehicles must have a 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).
- If your vehicle is II compliant, it must have -pin DLC under the dashboard, and the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label located on the inside of the on most vehicles must state that the vehicle is II compliant.
