CAN BUS emulator
The module provides ignition output of 12 volts

The IGNI-GEN eliminates the need for an ignition cable when installing aftermarket accessories (e.g. radio; hands-free system, etc.). Many newer vehicles no longer have an easily accessible, switched ignition cable because they use a bus-based vehicle control system (CAN bus). .

IGNI-GEN was developed because a quick and versatile ignition replacement was needed. This small microprocessor-controlled unit generates an artificial ignition signal based on the noise level of the constant 12V continuous current line. For the necessary calculations, the IGNI-GEN carries out well over 3000 measurements per second. The IGNI-GEN switches the ignition signal as soon as the engine is started. (In some vehicles the signal is started as soon as the key is inserted into the ignition lock, comparable to the normal ignition function in older vehicles)

IGNI-GEN is connected to a constant 12V continuous current line (yellow line) and ground (black line) to generate an artificial ignition signal. The generated ignition voltage is then immediately available after a short initial learning phase (red line). It can then be incorporated, for example, into a power supply plug of the device that requires an ignited positive cable.

Please note:

The installation is extremely simple. However, due to the type of intervention required to connect the module, it should be carried out by a professional
