Panasonic AJ-HPX3100G P2 HD camcorder

(Picture of actual item for sale - not stock photo - more pictures at bottom)

The Panasonic AJ-HPX3100 P2 HD camcorder is a 2/3" 1920x1080 10-bit 4:2:2 master quality ENG style shoulder camcorder. Newly designed smaller/lighter and less power consumption than the AJ-HPX3000 / AJ-HPX3700. Records in AVC Intra and DVCPROHD. Worldwide framerate capability of 24P, 25P, 30P, 50i, and 60i. High sensitivity and excellent s/n ratio. Power is via Anton Bauer goldmount battery plate or any quality 4-pin XLR power supply. It can also use v-mount / v-lock batteries by installing a simple goldmount to v-mount adapter plate. Features include: advanced gamma settings, film-like shutter controls, HD-SDI output, wireless metadata input, chromatic aberration compensation (CAC), three level dynamic range stretch (DRS), advanced 14-bit digital signal processing (DSP), digital zoom/super gain, one clip REC function, 2 disc/4 position ND/CC optical filter wheel, 3.5" color LCD monitor, and full customization of image you'd expect in a high end broadcast camcorder.

This includes the Panasonic AJ-HVF21KG 2" black & white viewfinder. Provides ample resolution for easy focusing. Useful functions for focus peaking, contrast, brightness, zebra, and front/rear tally. Includes microphone holder and eyecup.

Condition: This comes with the AJ-HVF21KG viewfinder and a Pelican 1650 hard case. The camera has some cosmetic paint wear, touchups, and mild scratches - but overall gives a presentable and clean physical appearance. The flip-out LCD has some wear on it's screen protector, but nothing that is noticeable when in use. The LCD is for basic composition and menu operation anyway, not for the most critical viewing like the viewfinder and HD-SDI output. The Pelican case has heavier wear than the camcorder itself, including sticker residue, dust, interior foam wear, and some cracks in the underside. So the case is not pretty, but does function to protect it in transport (so consider the case a bonus extra). This has already been upgraded to the latest firmware. Reasonable hours of use for a solid state camcorder: operation 298x10, power on 11179. This is tested in excellent working order, good sensor with properly masked pixels, with all functions, features, and connections operating correctly. The ND filter wheel is a little finicky in one direction, but still works well enough to use properly. Overall this is a profesionally field-used, but reliably working, example of a HPX3100.

Ebay's About Me page

The following pertains to our listing terms and conditions. Please read so there is no surprises as to the total cost of your item or any of our polices:

Q. How much will I owe for sales tax?
A. With the current marketplace facilitator laws, Ebay is now responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable sales tax on this platform. It is no longer the responsibility of third party sellers, so any questions regarding sales tax must be directed to Ebay. Note that many states are now mandating sales tax when making purchases from major online marketplaces such as Ebay, even if it is shipping from an out of state seller. Please check your local laws and the “shipping and payments” tab to understand your sales tax obligations on purchases. If you are a tax-exempt buyer (such as a reseller), you need to obtain tax exempt status through Ebay. We do not have the authority anymore to remove sales tax; only Ebay can do that if buyer qualifies. Please contact Ebay for any sales tax questions or issues.

Q. Why should I buy from The Broadcast Baron?
A. Rest easy knowing your gear will arrive to you in tip-top shape. We are an experienced seller specializing in broadcast/professional audio and video equipment. Every piece of gear is thoroughly assessed and repaired/maintained as needed. We even clean the items cosmetically, so they look their very best upon arrival. If the rare piece of gear arises that we are not familiar enough with to test or repair properly, service of the item will be outsourced to qualified broadcast technicians or the item will be clearly marked as untested. If any flaws remain at the time the item is listed, they will be fully disclosed so there is no surprises. We believe in customer service and will patiently answer all your questions. We value our reputation and want you to leave happy, knowing you got a great value for your money. We strive to achieve a level of customer satisfaction where The Broadcast Baron name comes to mind whenever you are looking for a piece of equipment - and you are eager to refer us to your friends!

Q. What kind of warranty is offered?
A. All items include a 30 day warranty from date of delivery. Domestic returns are free unless the buyer causes the item to arrive back in worse condition than it was received (abuse, damage, tampering, modification, removal/replacement of parts, significant usage added, etc). We reserve right to issue a partial refund in the above “buyer fault” scenarios corresponding to the severity of the issue. Return shipping cost is paid by seller for domestic returns. International returns are for item not as described only and cost paid by buyer. A partial refund, replacement, or repair is possible as alternative to return, at the agreement of both parties. Item must be returned packaged well in the same manner sent so it arrives back safely. Refund issued by same method as payment. A free copy of our full warranty terms/conditions can be obtained upon request.

Q. What happens if the gear arrives with shipping damage?
A. The Broadcast Baron takes meticulous care in packaging the items it ships and each item will be fully insured. However, in the unlikely event that shipping damage or loss does occur, you will not be held financially responsible. Regardless of whether the shipping company eventually pays us or not on the insurance claim, we honor the 30 day warranty. We would only ask that you fully cooperate with the insurance claim and save all the original packaging.

Q. Do you sell to international buyers?
A. Yes, but not every item we sell can ship to every country. Please look at ebay's shipping and handling section (below the auction) to see which countries each particular item can be shipped to.

Q. How much is domestic shipping?
A. For most items, free shipping (including insurance) via FEDEX ground or USPS priority is included in the purchase price to any of the 48 states. Please take note if a particular item specifies free shipping or not. If you need anything faster, you will be responsible for the additional cost. Feel free to contact us for an express service shipping quote. Express shipping can also be billed to your own UPS/FEDEX/DHL account if you prefer.

Q. How much is international shipping?
A. Buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. Default shipping method to international locations is USPS express. Please use the USPS shipping calculator or contact us to get a shipping quote. USPS has different dimensional restrictions for different countries. It may turn out that your item, once packaged, is too large to use USPS service. Also, some items are too valuable to be able to be fully insured by USPS (also this varies by country). If this is the case, you will be given the option to use FEDEX instead and given an appropriate quote for FEDEX international costs. International shipping prices vary greatly depending on your location. Please contact us before bidding for a precise shipping quote and confirmation that the item meets the size/value requirements to go USPS. Please note that any customs charges, taxes, or duties levied by your country is your responsibility.
