Freq. range: FM 86.5 - 108 MHz; SW 3.9 - 12 MHz; MW 530 - 1605 kHz.

Fixed handle, light switch; power, local FM, AFC buttons. SW fine tuning. Sockets for external power 6 V, headset (2), recorder, aux in, mpx out. Lateral knobs for volume and tone.

Sony also made a TFM-117WB which has a white background tuner versus the black background on the xxxWA. The power supply is a vintage Radio Shack transformer. This version of the unit is quite rare.
