This 50-year-old rare 1st edition classic children’s book is also its 1st printing in September 1973. It has been passed down a few times as is apparent by the inscriptions on the cover and first inside page, which is loose but not completely detached. The pages have probably been read hundreds of times. They have tanning but no other markings. There’s plenty of reading to be done in these pages, but they need to be turned carefully.
