H. YOUTH MANUAL 'H. J. IM DIENST'

Scarce publication: 'H. J. im Dienst' (H. Youth in Service') (Berlin: Verlag Bernard & Graese), 1940 368pp., in beige cloth with red title and black symbol. A complete training guide for members of the H. Youth, very similar in style to a Boy Scout manual but with special sections especially emphasizes physical training, weapons and their firing, compass use and range determination, surveillance and evasion, camping, etc. Interestingly, many of the illustration portrays the 'youth' or figures in the illustrations in military uniforms! This book is in good readable condition. Binding is still complete, but has some parts that are starting to separate. Overall a very nice reading copy.

Tag und Nacht am Feind book is a fine reading copy. Binding is loose, but not detached. Looks like a slight staining on the bottom of the book but it has not affected the inside pages. Once again, an overall, nice reading copy.
