  • Beschreibung: Dieses überaus feine Näh-Etui ist in der Biedermeierzeit um 1820 entstanden. Es ist aus Leder mit geflochtenen Lederbändern zum Verschließen und Befestigen. Das Leder ist mit Ornamentik und schönen Darstellungen geprägt. Diese zeigen unter anderem die Ansicht einer klassizistischen Häuserfassade. Sie ist mit "Frankfurt a./M." bezeichnet. Innen ist das Kästchen mit grünem Papier ausgekleidet. Ein sehr schönes Originalstück aus der frühen Zeit des Biedermeiers.

  • Description: This extremely fine sewing case was created in the Biedermeier period around 1820. It is made of leather with braided leather straps for closing and fastening. The leather is embossed with ornamentation and beautiful depictions. These show, among other things, a view of a neo-classical house façade. It is inscribed with "Frankfurt a./M.". Inside the box is lined with green paper. A very beautiful original piece from the early Biedermeier period.
