A little history

I have for sale three small, Boat Wooden Ship Wheel Steering Wheel in three sizes with diameters of: 8-1/4" and 6-3/8" and 5-1/8".

These small Wooden (mahogany) Ship Wheel Steering were made in the 70s with the purpose of being a mold to produce replicas in alabaster (or other cold castable material) and the copies produced from these wooden master molds were used to serve as center pieces for decorated frames with several sailor's knots sample of how mooring knots are made called sailor's art (decorative wall frames sea motifs sailor's knots).

These three small mahogany wood Ship Wheel Steering made to scale are genuine and handmade with the expertise of an experienced user of a wood turning lathe with all the details that this art requires.

Please look at the last photo, it shows one of the frames with knots where a Ship Wheel Steering copy made from one of these three matrices was used.

The three penultimate photos show the master wooden wheel and a replica made using the master's mold
