Original Vintage Post War satin housecoat/ kimono slashed each side in traditional oriental tunic style with embroidered floral decoration all over and quilting on the sleeves pockets and neckline.

The lining is a heavy satin with faded stripe pattern see pics

Background is silver and the floral decoration is orange and gold, yellow, green and silver embroidered silk 

 

Good condition for an item of its age

There are a few marks & the main 2 are seen in the last pics . This is reflected in the reasonable price.

These coats were made for the tourist industry and reflected the luxury market that began to develop after the severe restrictions of the 2 world wars.
