Large baluster vase on a flush stand, base set off by a ground groove, wall slightly curved upwards and widening towards the opening, colorless glass with fluffy white and yellowish, in the stand area with dark brown-violet powder melts, with etched columbine decoration painted in colored enamel, satin surface in the background, base and bottom polished smoothly, relief signature 'DAUM NANCY FRANCE' with Lorraine cross on the wall between the plants.

HANDMADE CAMEO GLASS
Glass covered with several layers, in which motifs are worked out in high cut. Since the mid-19th century The shaping was also done by etching. Vessels made of cameo glass were already made in ancient times, and at the end of the 19th century. In the 19th century, this glass art was further developed, especially in Nancy.

Large baluster vase on a flush stand, base set off by polished fillets, wall slightly curved upwards and widening towards the opening, colorless glass with flaky white and yellowish powder inclusions in the base area with dark brown-violet inclusions, with etched columbine decor painted in colored enamel, satined surface in the background, base and bottom smoothly polished, relief signature 'DAUM NANCY FRANCE' with Cross of Lorraine on the wall between the plants.

HANDMADE CAMEO GLASS
Glass overlaid with several layers, with high-cut worked out motifs. Since the middle of the 19th century, the design has also been done by etching. Cameo glass vessels were already being made in antique; cameo glass vessels were already being made in ancient times, and at the end of the 19th century this glass art was further developed, especially in Nancy.
