Written by Charles Lethbridge Kingsford, an English scholar, historian and author.

The Feast of the Five Kings, 1916.

From Archaeologia Volume LXVII, the historical retelling of a civic legend in which three foreign kings came to England and were entertained by Edward III in London.

Paris Garden and the Bear-Baiting, 1920.

From Archaeologia Volume LXX, an explorative study on bear-baiting in Paris during the 16th and 17th centuries from accounts of the experience written by authors at the time.

On Some London Houses of the Early Tudor Period, 1921.

From Archaeologia Volume LXXI, a study of four houses from the Tudor period with details of furnishing, arrangement of rooms, and external surroundings.


CONDITION

In the original blue paper binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and chipping. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Light rust from staples.
