Five. Precautions for the selection of solid state relay products:
 
  ● When choosing a product, you should leave a different margin in the current grade according to the nature of the load. (For resistive load, select 2-3 times the load current. For inductive or capacitive load, select 3-5 times the load current).
 
● According to the relationship between load current and ambient temperature, when the ambient temperature is high or the heat dissipation conditions are not good. The current capacity should be increased. In order to prevent the load from being short-circuited during use, it is required to connect a fast disconnect switch or fast fuse corresponding to this product in series in the load circuit.
 
  ● For inductive load, a varistor should be connected in parallel at the output terminal to prevent damage to the thyristor during overvoltage. Varistor (MOV) options: 430-470V for 240V, 680-750V for 440V, and 1100-1200V for 660V.
 
● During installation, the contact surface between the radiator and the product must be flat and clean, and a layer of thermally conductive silicone grease should be evenly coated on the surface. Finally, the screws with flat washers and spring washers should be tightened symmetrically.
 
  ● After the solid-state relay is shut down for the first time, you should tighten the fixing screws while it is still warm to make the solid-state relay base plate and the surface of the radiator closely contact to achieve the best heat dissipation effect.
 
● The nominal current of different models of solid state relays is the nominal current when the ambient temperature is 40℃, so the heat dissipation should be sufficient!!
 
● Be careful not to use a multimeter on the load side to betray the quality of the product!
