I was born and brought up in this area of St Mary Cray, Kent nearly 65 years ago and have collected Postcards, Photos and the history of it for over 40 years.
I have never seen this image before.
It is obviously early, 1885 - 1905 I would say.
Taken from near the region of Reynolds Cross.

Showing the Red Lion Pub on the right, just past where Red Lion Close is now.
And on the same side, just behind it, will be the Primary School.
With the Weatherboard Buildings on the left, 318 High Street.
Opposite them now is the Croft Tearoom.

Wonderful animation with people, bicycle and horse-carts.

This is a quality copy, presumably from the original, on proper photographic paper.
My camera is not the best, the image is sharper than I can show.
Measures 133mm x 88.5mm.
