On offer today is a beautiful Genuine Sheffield Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Palm pattern. The piece has a genuine steel blade which has a mirrored finish - truly a fantastic item that will only increase in value.

The handle is fully hallmarked with the letter f for 1923 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and Makers Mark JY - the Makers Mark for the famous John Yates. The silver handle on this Letter Opener is in excellent condition for its age as the images show. The hallmarks are clear on this piece. The Letter Opener is 22 cms in length and weighs 40 grammes.
