This tie is woven into a 100% NAVY wool flannel base with a brighter blue and beige oversized tartran check pattern going over it.
It would be suitable for wear with a flannel business suit (to make a real impact), or equally would suit and country style/themed event or for wear with tweed jacket/suit.
This tie is similar to a ones worn by the peaky blinders
As it is wool it could go with a wool or flannel suit in solid colours, but could be too out there to wear with business casual type outfits (blaze/chinos jeans/trainers etc!!
It is handmade in ITALY ( so you know its to a top standard.
The main fabric is used to line the blades of the tie for that extra bit of finesse this also gives it a thicker body.
Wool is a delicate fabric blend and can pull on sharp edges, rough skin and jagged nails so be EXTRA CAREFUL.
Wool is natural and biodegradable and is sustainable.
Would be a great gift or yourself or a loved one.
Ideally you should wear with a classic suit jacket with a normal width collar/lapel. Do not wear it with a skinny lapel jacket as a wide classic tie worn with a skinny collar/lapel on a suit will look odd.
This tie would sit perfectly with a white crisp poplin shirt or even better a white flannel.
Do not wear it with darker coloured shirts or it will look odd.
