Antique Set of 4 New England Cane Seat Slatback Farmhouse Hitchcock Style Chairs

Antique Set of 4 Hitchcock Style Farmhouse Dining Chairs from New England. Hand painted Black and Gold with Cane Seats. Backs are composed of a stenciled crest rail at the top and a central slat back. Stretchers on the front, back and sides, with ringed front stretcher as well as turned ringed front legs that terminate in ball feet. These were repainted in 1963 and signed by artist underneath.

Dimensions: 18" wide x 20" deep x 33" high
