This is the Thickest and most firm strop in my line of fine straight razor strops. For this strop I use a very firm Bridle Leather. This is actually two strops in one. The secondary or prep strop is white cotton. It cleans impurities from the razor before applying It to the primary 2.5"x18" strop of 9/10 oz. Bridle leather. It has an even - firm draw. NOTE: Bridle leather is not tanned with waxes and oils, so it requires extra maintenance to prevent the moisture present in most wet shaving environs from causing "Cupping".
