This stunning ceramic dinner plate is a true antique, originating from the late 19th century/early 20th in the United Kingdom. The Copeland and Spode plate features a beautiful Devonia pattern,  transfer printed and then hand-painted with tropical bird, flowers, butterflies, and insects. The background is a shagreen pattern. The round plate has a glossy finish and a printed backstamp.

This plate should really be for decorative purposes  only given its age and rarity. Carries the  registration number RdNo. 375763. It measures approximately 21.5cm in diameter. Comes in lovely condition with no chips or cracks but obviously isn't brand new and therefore may show signs of age and use on close inspection.
