Hi this auction is for a lovely vintage gold tone chain necklace.

Made entirely of metal this is in an unusual chunky link style which sits like a collar on, is very effective, the links are arranged like a row of angled Ivy or similar plant leaf shapes.

The style looks chunky but as the metal is quite light is still very easy to wear. The upper face of the leaves has been shaped to look like it set with stones, marcasite or similar but actually is all metal and I think this is just an effect.

It measures approx 16’ long and fastens with a push in style shaped clasp. Each leaf measures approx 1.5cm wide by just under 2.25cm long.

Gold tone bit a slight pinky hue- almost more rose gold in appearance but don't think it's actually precious metal, has a good look though.

It is very light weight so I think is possibly that anodised metal that was very popular in the 1960’s/70’s, possibly coated aluminium? Or other very light weight metal.

Approx 1970's in style but could easily be a bit either side.

Used but in good condition, some general surface wear but no major flaws. Would be an ideal striking addition to any outfit.

Any questions please ask- thanks for looking:-)
