As the name implies, water-based wood stains consist of colour pigments dispersed in water, ensuring they are completely free from toxic or harmful chemicals. This guarantees not only safe handling but also a completely odourless experience. Their straightforward composition makes them remarkably easy to use, allowing for swift application and quick drying.

Clean-up after your project is a breeze – just wash your brush or foam pad with soapy water. Even if you accidentally get some on your hands, you can effortlessly wash it off with soap and water.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Before applying the water-based wood stain, ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and entirely free from dirt, grease, glue, or any existing coatings. It's crucial to strip off previous stains, varnish, oil polishes, or coatings entirely. For a well-dispersed colour, invert the bottle and shake it thoroughly, as some dye might settle at the bottom.

To apply the stain evenly, follow the wood grain direction, using a high-quality paintbrush, sponge, or lint-free cotton rag. Alternatively, a spray gun can also be used. Once the stain dries, use a damp sponge to remove any excess, enhancing the appearance by highlighting wood details.

After the stain dries, finish with protective coatings like wax polish, hard wax oil, clear polyurethane lacquer, or clear varnish for added surface protection.

Exercise caution when using water-based lacquers or varnishes, as they may drag the stained surface during application. Adding a colour tint to the water-based varnish or lacquer can minimize dragging, achieving a smoother finish.

Touch dry/recoat: 2 hours @ 18°C
