Love a unique, handmade piece? Me too! Especially when they're as lovely a this...

Inspired by a classic 1930's styled, but most likely made in the 1960's to 70's, this is a an example of a lovingly handmade piece. I adore the rich coral color of the wool yarn, which has specks of other wool colors that ended up getting carded in the yarn (so most likely also hand-spun wool yarn). This dress has full length sleeves, tight jewel style neckline, and gently flared skirt. The inner waist has been woven through with some white elastic (modern style braided elastic, which still is nice and stretchy), however, there is no lining and no pockets. The bodice features a set of size large faux tortoiseshell buttons (possibly bakelite?) for the closure, and the buttonholes have a crossgrain ribbon foundation (as well as at neckline). The overall condition is near mint, with absolutely no flaws to note! I darn-tacked one little spot at the upper skirt, where it looks like a stitch was dropped from the knit chain -thats it!! Light pilling all over knit surface -please review photographs for full details. No labels present, made by hand.

Please note: my dress form happens to have a short torso/waist area, so keep that in mind when viewing photos and considering sizing
