Up for auction is a beautiful stampless cover sent via soldier's mail by a sergeant Theo Pautsch with the American Expeditionary Force, AEF, of the United States Army which invaded Russia in the aftermath of world war one. Postmarked by the US Army post office in Russia on December 18, 1918. Nice censor and AEF markings on cover. Very rare postal history item from this obscure chapter in American military history. Sent to Detroit Michigan. Note the British censorship markings.
