Pair of PORCELIER Art Deco White Porcelain Sconces,  Rewired, Very Good Condition, Vintage!

These white porcelain sconces were manufactured by Porcelier sometime between 1928 and 1953, the lifetime of the company, but they are clearly art deco in style and were probably made in the 1930's.  The porcelain is in very good condition.

We carefully cleaned the fixtures, removing the old over-paint from along the sides.  We rewired them and we also disassembled, cleaned, polished and lubed the pull chain switches.  We replaced the nickel plated chains with new ones to brighten them up.  They even have their original porcelain pull knobs, a bonus since these are missing more than half the time.  The switches work perfectly.   We disabled the unpolarized, ungrounded two-prong outlets at the bottom of one fixture, but the parts are all there and it can be made to work if needed.

The fixtures are 4-1/2" wide x 6-3/4" high where they meet the wall (8" high to end of the chain), and they project 4-1/2" from the wall.  They use standard base bulbs.  Mounting hardware is included.

The sconces are guaranteed to be as described and we will accept their return if the buyer is dissatisfied.  Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them.

Shipping is the buyer's choice of USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx or UPS Ground, or USPS Priority Mail.
