The fine item you are considering is an Antique San Francisco The Noble Frankfurter Original Polk Street Banner Sign. This amazing bit of San Francisco history is an original banner from “The Noble Frankfurter” which was located on the corner of Polk and Jackson Street from the late 1960’s to late 1970’s. They apparently served a cheese filled hotdog for $3.00 at the time, which was quite expensive for a hotdog in the 1970’s! The banner measures approximately 66” by 47”, and is made of a very heavy material, with the letters and hand painted hotdog man stitched on. The banner is two sided (the same imagery on both sides), and while it shows wear, it still makes a great overall impression. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item. Winning bidder/buyer pays $46.00 shipping and insurance in the contiguous U.S., plus $3.00 for packing materials with shipping to Alaska and Hawaii most likely costing more. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact me for a shipping estimate. Foreign bidders/buyers pay costs as per eBay's Global Shipping Program. Due to the large amount of items I now auction, I can unfortunately no longer allow in person pick up of items. My return policy is that returns are only accepted if I made a mistake in the listing, not disclosing a serious issue with the item, in other words, if the item is substantively different than as described in my listing. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding/buying!
