This is absolutely one of a kind and it breaks my heart to sell it, but I need to downsize and I’ve put on some weight and it is better suited for someone smaller. This is truly unique and quite delicate (not too delicate to be worn, but does need gentle care). It’s three pieces- the velvet coat with sleeves and one side pocket, the shimmery gold and cream cape overlay that snaps under the collar, and the belt (there are no belt loops). It looks to be handmade and the stitching is coming loose in a few spots, but it’s still quite solid. There are also some spots where it looks to have been accidentally stitched together- see the collar. I think it gives character but just know that this piece is quite old and not in perfect shape, but still very wearable. You could hand sew it or leave it as is (which I did). You can wear it as a regular coat or attach the cape. As it looks to be handmade there is no size, but I would say this would be best for an XS or small- size 2-4 would be optimal. The arms are a bit on the short side but I have longer arms and wore it proudly with long gloves. I cannot even begin to describe how gorgeous these colors are together. It’s a rich, olive chartreuse green warmed by the gold and cream. You will never find another coat like this and I will probably regret selling it.
