I'm thinning out my collection of vintage cameras that I don't use so this is your chance to grab a Leidolf Lordomat Rangefinder camera from 1953. The Lordomat is a 35mm film rangefinder camera with coupled rangefinder mechanism made in germany, likely a very expensive camera when it was new.  The camera is in well-used vintage condition but would benefit from a CLA as the slow shutter speeds are sticky and the rangefinder needs slight vertical adjustment (Rangefinder is horizontally accurate as far as I can tell).  Overall the camera is in good shape for being over 70 years old and comes with a 50mm f1:2.8 Lordonar made in Wetzlar. The lens filter ring is damaged and shows some pretty strong haze with a strong back light.

Please note: Items are USED unless specified otherwise. Cameras, lenses, and accessories haven't been film tested unless stated. I describe items as accurately as possible. Lenses and camera shutters are visually and audibly inspected. Optical items like rangefinders are visually checked. Dust inside lenses, even new ones, won't affect images. Items are collectible and sold as such. If you plan to use them professionally, service or cleaning is advised. Expect reasonable functionality and optics without noticeable issues, unless specified. I don't provide maintenance or restoration, just exterior cleaning and basic testing.

As this is an over 70 year old mechanical item, its condition cannot be described in all details. Normal signs of wear are not mentioned separately. Offered as a second-hand / historical photo technique / source of spare parts and / or collector's item. The photos are part of the auction description. Lenses and glasses have normal signs of age on the inside and are not suitable for inspection under microscopes or strong light to detect any signs of use. Normal age related issues such as fog, dots and inclusions are not specifically specified, if they do not greatly interfere with use or are normal for this age.
