National
Glass/McKee & Bros. Glass produced early American
pattern glass (EAPG) between 1899 and 1904 in Pittsburgh, PA. Among the few patterns they issued, is the
Princeton pattern introduced in 1900. This
pressed glass pattern featured a teardrop, diamond point, and fan design. Individual items from the Princeton line are
difficult to find, but here is offered a very rare chance to purchase a set of
4 berry bowls. They measure about 5 ¼”
in diameter and a little over 1” high.
The bowls are in great antique condition. Each bowl has a sharp sawtooth edge and there
are a few tiny nicks (as expected), but no missing teeth. This is a beautiful set of EAPG berry bowls
and will be attractive items in your collection or antique home décor.
