Description

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian age hand carved turtle top center table that consists of walnut and rosewood. It is a beautiful table form the civil war era of the 1860s. It is in pretty much original condition and in good shape. Someone had a plant pot on it for years and it left a center ring on the top that is approximately 6 inches circular. It could easily be covered with another plant pot or lamp. The table is beautiful with a wide shapely ogee bevel edge white and gray grained marble that sits upon a rosewood and walnut hand carved base with outside legs that are joined together with a cross stretcher and center finial. The overall size is 41 inches long, 28 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. This is larger than the average! It has the original casters and the whole frame is original dark reddish brown stain finish. All the carving appears to be intact. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for additional shipping outside of New England.
