all three trains turn, plays several songs and volume is loud & clear, can be adjusted or turned off, comes with 5 volt power supply, not original, the battery area is clean and has door, the Santa & Deer do not turn, we believe all the lights are working, the wood base is in excellent condition and we can find no chips or cracks except we noticed some chipping to the tips of some deer, this unit would not run on batteries for us, power supply only, the power supply fits loosely into the connection and needed a little help to be just right for the connection.
