Carex comans Frosted Curls Grass x 1 Plug Plants 

Also called Amazon mist or frosty curled sedge.

(Please look at the photos of the seedling so you know what you are getting before buying. They have a good root  system  which when potted up will grow into a mature plant).

Its best at this time of year to plant in a pot of compost and keep in a cold greenhouse or somewhere bright and frost free and watered.

Graceful grass which has silver and white foliage with a slight curl at the end.  Evergreen foliage which is great in containers or at the edge of a garden border.  Looks great on its own or informally in groups of 3, 5 or more.

Lovely colour and texture in the garden in summer and autumn.

Tolerates difficult conditions so really tough plants which can deal with dryness, salt, winds and drought conditions but also deals with quite moist conditions.

Height 30-38 cm (12-15 inch)

Spread 50-60cm (18-24 inch)

Instructions for planting and caring.....

Likes full sun/partial shade for best results full sun. Well drained soil but moist and moderately fertile light soil. Plant 10-30cm apart.

In spring remove the dead foliage by brushing your fingers through the plants and in summer feed with one dressing of dilute general fertilizer. Cut back old foliage to 10cm in Spring as the new growth appears in the centre of the plants and any congested plants can be divided in April to June.
