This is a beautiful bakelite light meter, with selenium cell, made by Weston for the Leitz New York, it's the Leicameter 650.
It's made of black bakelite and with typical Art Deco shapes and decorations.
This is an uncommon version of the Leicameter 250, usually these light meters had indications for Scheiner degrees,
Instead this one has them for Weston speed.

As is possible to see from the pictures it's in very good condition (please remember its age), there is a long scratch,
fortunately not very deep, on the top cover (look at photo 5).
It comes with a nice rigid case (original??).
The selenium cell is reactive to light, but I don't know if the measurement is accurate.
The meter is sold as a collector's item, not for use, no guarantee is given on its correct working order.
It's interesting for the light meter collector but also for the Leica collector.
This variant is less common and therefore even more interesting.

The pictures are of the item for sale, the original color of the item could be, obviously, a little different from the one displayed on your screen.
