Background:  The Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1) is a floating, self-propelled, mobile array radar station designed to operate in high winds and heavy seas. It was developed as part of the United States Department of Defense Ballistic Missile Defense System.  The radar is mounted on a fifth generation CS-50 twin-hulled semi- submersible oil platform.

Condition Note:  Is pre-owned, but appears to have not been washed or worn.  Does have a small spot on the back from storage, so it is being offered as used.  You can see the spot in the photo adjacent to a quarter, to show the spot's size.
