This is an AllParts ONE-PIECE maple neck with black dots. It has the early precision style headstock that was also used on the telecaster bass of the 70's. Maple is known for its superior tonal qualities and playability. This neck is ready to install. All you need to do is drill the holes to hold the neck to your body.
The truss rod works well and easily adjusts for the relief that you need for great action. It is located at the heel like the traditional necks. Really great feel!
