This beautiful hardcover book titled "Venice 34: The Figurative Tradition in Recent American Art" is a true gem for collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Written by Norman A. Geske and published by Smithsonian Institution Press in 1968, this book explores the topic of fine arts through catalogs and exhibitions, with a particular focus on the figurative tradition in recent American art.

The book features special attributes such as a dust jacket, illustrations, and a first edition status. It is written in English and is a must-have for anyone interested in art and photography. This book is a true representation of American art history and is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts who want to expand their knowledge of the subject.

The book is in good condition. There is major discoloration inside both the front and back covers. I think it is a transfer from the orange book cover that has simply bel through over the years. There’s a Pasadena art museum sticker on the first page. The remaining pages are clean and unmarked. No rips or tears. Binding is tight. Dust Jack has wear and has been taped on the inside along the binding edge. There is a stain on the back bottom edge that bled onto the back edge of the book cover.
