  • Beschreibung: Entwurf einer dramatischen Figurenszene. Zu Pferd flieht ein Edelmann vor seinen bewaffneten Verfolgern. Vor ihm im Sattel hält er eine junge Frau mit wehenden Haaren. Vermutlich Entwurf für ein Historienbild oder eine literarische Illustration.

Rechts unten ebenfalls Randeinriss. In der Unterkante im Bereich der hinteren Fessel langer Randeinriss, weiter links ein weiterer kurzer Randeinriss. Links mittig kleines Loch im Papier

  • Description: Sketch of a dramatic figure scene. A nobleman on horseback flees from his armed pursuers. In front of him in the saddle he holds a young woman with waving hair. Probably a sketch for a history painting or a literary illustration.

  • Condition: Rather good condition. Visible mounting in the corners. There also slightly wavy and discoloured. Sporadic pale foxing visible. Short marginal tear at upper right. Lower right margin tear as well. In the lower edge in the area of the back pastern long marginal tear, further left another short marginal tear. Small hole in the centre left of the paper
