  • Beschreibung: Nebeneinander sind Gruppen von ganzfigurigen Personen dargestellt, die jeweils eine Dame, einen Herren und ein Kind umfassen. Die Personen tragen jeweils die überzeichnet dargestellte Mode des höfischen Adels einer Zeitepoche, die oberhalb mit den Datierungen "[?]" (Wikingerzeit?) , "Um 1000" (Frühes Mittelalter), "1360" (Hohes Mittelalter) und "1460" (Spätes Mittelalter) definiert sind. Die Herren sind jeweils auch mit der teils ahistorischen Bewaffnung und Rüstungsmode dargestellt. Es handelt sich um die Entwurfszeichnungen zu "Eine Familie und ihre Ahnen oder so ändern sich die Zeiten", einer Xylographie, die 1861 in der Serie "Münchener Bilderbogen" als Nr. 312 herausgegeben wurde.

  • Description: Groups of full-figure persons are depicted side by side, each comprising a lady, a gentleman and a child. The persons each wear the exaggeratedly depicted fashion of the courtly nobility of a time period, which is marked above with the dates "[?] (Viking Age?), "Around 1000" (Early Middle Ages), "1360" (High Middle Ages) and "1460" (Late Middle Ages). The lords are also depicted in each case with the partly ahistorical armament and armour fashion. These are the design drawings for "Eine Familie und ihre Ahnen oder so ändern sich die Zeiten", a xylograph published in 1861 in the series "Münchener Bilderbogen" as no. 312.

  • Condition: Good condition. Light soiling and individual rubbings of the drawing are visible in places. Especially the lateral edges and the lower one are discoloured yellowish. In the right half of the sheet there are some blotches with brown ink.
