Dual Turntable **DELUXE** 1229 Lube Kit
The Deluxe version just includes hardware that may not be needed for all models. This also works for the 1219 and 1218 models. The printed lubrication diagram will be for the 1229. If additional diagrams for other models are needed, message me and I can send electronically.
Each lubricant will be pre-packaged in individual application syringes with appropriate blunt tip needle. The exception to this is the light motor oil which will be packaged in a glass vial for shipment as prolonged storage in the syringe will lead to deterioration of the rubber plunger and possible contamination of the oil. It is estimated that each kit is enough to service 2-3 turntables.
Here is what is included:
- 1 - SuperLube ISO 22 (lightweight oil eq. to Isoflex PDP40) ~15 ml in PET dropper vial w/ syringe
- 1 - Shell Gadus S2 V220 (modern equivalent of Alvania) ~ 9 ml in curved tip syringe
- 1 - Husquvarna Bar/Chain oil (eq. Renotac Adhesive oil) ~10ml in syringe
- 1 - SAE 10W30 (eq. Thicker, non-gumming oil) ~2.5ml in syringe
- 1 - Silicone oil 300,000 cst ~2.5 ml in syringe
- 1 - Silicone oil 500,000 cst ~2.5 ml in syringe
- 3 - M2.5 screw, lock washer, nut (for motor rehab) - 3 of each to replace rivets of the lower bell bearing well (enough for three motors)
- 2 - Set-Screws for Motor Pulley (for damaged/lost originals)
- 2 - Sleeve/washer* (Part 218 518) replacement for the Single/Multi play - photo shows original (left), included sleeve (mid), other ebay replacement (right)
- CS1229 full page color coded diagram of factory indicated lubrication points, brief instruction and info on recommended tools and resources
* the sleeve/washers are hand cut from Tygon tubing, the edges may be slightly uneven but this does not affect function of holding in the little ball bearings for single/multi adjustment.
