| Footed Ebony Jet Black Glass Description: This ebony jet black glass candy jar might have been made by the Lancaster Glass Company about 1930. It has a high pointed finial and a footed stem. Underside of lid has 18 optics. Inside base bowl are 20 optics. It has 2 heavy silver deposit medallions that were probably applied by a decorating firm. I call this silver pattern 3 palm leaves in urn. Size: Overall about 6.5" high and 5" diameter. 3.75 high without lid. 6" high x 6.75" diameter. 6" h without the lid. 6.5" inside diameter. Condition: The silver pattern has wear. Silver needs polishing. 2 fingernail catching marks on the inside of the base. A few straw marks. Slight straw marks inside the bowl.
