Here is an Edwardian jardinière. It is made from mahogany and the internal planter is made from brass. Lovely shape. It is generally in excellent condition. On one section of slats however, there are two slats missing - I have always had that side against the wall and it's no big deal. The little lower shelf came loose a few years back and I glued it back in place. It's not been an issue since then. This would look great in a period house I think. A classic aspidistra would be just the ticket, or a fern maybe. Collection only. I live about an hour from North  / East London by car. Not far from Stansted airport.
