This is a vintage original c.1920s catalog sheet or advertising broadside for nail aprons that could be imprinted with advertising for lumber yards, hardware stores and that type of thing. This sheet was issued folded is printed one side only folding open to about 14” x 10”. The bottom of the sheet is printed “Manufactured By Continental Bag Company, Mexico, Missouri”. This sheet illustrates a couple different styles of nail aprons and shows prices on quantities of up to 1000 which could be had for as little as 12 cents each.
This sheet isn’t dated but came with other similar material from the 1920s and 1930s and looks to be from that same time period. One of the nail aprons shown shows the phone number of the lumber yard as “20” so this old. Included with the sheet is another small leaflet illustrating Stock Cuts relating to the lumber business which could be imprinted on the aprons.
