The rhubarb bushes are grown in our own garden.
We do not use any artificial fertilisers or pesticides.
The rhubarb is a vigorous perennial you can easily grow in your own garden.
Our rhubarbs were already there since we moved in from 2012 and they have spread a lot. They are extremely hardy which makes it easy for them to survive the British winter. The edible stems will be ready for harvest from early spring to midsummer. Though we don't know exactly which variety they belong to, they have produced large crops every year, as a matter of fact, way too much for us to consume. They grow well in well-drained garden soil in sunny or half shaded areas.
