A striking gold Nina Ricci brooch, it features distinctive symbols of the French Revolution.


Nina Ricci, worked as a couturier in Paris for twenty years before she began designing under her own name in 1932. Her jewellery and accessories have an air of refined femininity.


The Phrygian cap, was a red cap that began to be associated with the French Revolution in 1789.
