Review

Praise for Rainbow Days: The Gray Day by Valerie Bolling: An early reader bursting with color, art, and sparkles. Sentences are brief enough for those learning to read but retain interest and immediacy as Zoya goes on her creative journey. Illustrations are warm and vibrant, perfect for a book about an artist and her puppy. A how-to-draw guide is included at the end to help readers create [their own drawings]. -VERDICT: A colorful, lovely addition to every early reader collection. --School Library Journal Praise for Let's Dance! by Valerie Bolling: 2021 Crystal Kite Award Winner"In onomatopoeic, rhyming text, Bolling encourages readers to dance in styles including folk dance, classical ballet, breakdancing, and line dancing." -- Kirkus Reviews"Debut author Bolling presents 10 forms of dance in short, rhyming stanzas. A fun and lively title." -- School Library Journal
