This is a great vintage full suspension mountain bike, that's sort of a requirement for any vintage mountain bike collection. Just given a light tune-up; everything works well. Lightweight aluminum frame with carbon (OCLV) swingarm and Trek suspension fork. The Shimano STX RC, 21-speed drivetrain shifts smooth with plenty of gearing for the steep ascents. The V Brakes work great and are there to slow you down in a hurry! The alloy wheels roll true and smooth and come clad in mountain/city tires that are near full tread. This ride is ready to hit the dirt/road; just BYOHelmet and make sure to have the bike professionally assembled after shipping.

Some prior customers seem to not read that statement and had issues after "assembly". We now repeat this bit of important information to make doubly clear you WILL need a professional to properly assemble the bike. We'd also recommend you use a pro to dial in your settings and riding position as needed. Sorry, but we can not tell you how much the bike will be dissassembled prior to shipping since some bikes need to be packed differently to insure safe travel(s).
