Please
read all the below as placing an order is entering into a contract. Placing an
order is an acceptance of our terms and conditions
- If
payment is not received within 7 days of purchase then
a Non Paying Buyer
Dispute will be filed, and 10 days later a final fee
credit lodged
- Once
goods have been dispatched this will be entered on your ebay file with
tracking numbers where applicable
- Once
you receive your goods, please inspect them for any damage during transit,
and report the said damage within 24hrs via e-mail. If all is well please
leave feedback, so we are aware that you have received your goods. Please note that if there
are any problems, contact us first using the e-mail address on the complement slip giving
full details of any problem along with your user ID
EXCHANGES and RETURNS.
Buying from a picture can sometimes be hit and miss so if you want to return an
item for another size that will not be a problem providing I have the size you
require. If you simply decide you don't want the goods then as long as they are
returned as supplied in a resalable condition with original undamaged
packaging a refund will be issued. Postage will not be refunded and
returning the goods will be the responsibility of the buyer as will return
postage. In light of eBay's new return procedures, please contact us regarding a
return or problem with your order. You can contact us through eBay
messages, or through email. Please do not use eBay's "Request a
Refund" option.
Exemptions to online returns
There are some circumstances where the Consumer
Contracts Regulations do not give you a right to cancel.
These include - Sealed perishable goods if you've
broken the seal on the wrapping and
tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for
health protection and hygiene reasons that's been broken.
Please put a letter in with the return giving your full details, why you
are returning it, ebay id etc. and send it recorded please as refunds will only
be given for goods I have received.

UK Small
items under 2kg :- 2nd class small packet for all addresses with a
UK postcode
Without
a postcode please choose the appropriate service.
Large items or items over 2kg
I
search out the best priced option but this usually only covers :- mainland
England, Wales and Southern Scotland. If you live in Ireland, Highlands or
Islands but have a UK postcode choose the higher priced service. The service provider can vary from area to area so even though Royal Mail is given as the alternative service this may not always be the one I use. I reserve the right to choose the most appropriate service.

Shipping outside the UK
1. We ship worldwide but we do not accept any
responsibility for customs service in your country so do not accept
responsibility for any returned items. Any refunds will be minus delivery
costs.
2. We do give shipping discounts on combined
purchases
3. All the goods are delivered via the most
appropriate service although a specific service can be provided at the customer’s
request.
4. Please provide your telephone no, as the
shipping company might need it at the time of delivery.
5. In case of non-delivery on account of a mistake
by the buyer (i.e. wrong name or address or parcel not accepted for any reason)
any extra cost incurred by us for redelivery shall be claimed from the person
placing the order.
6. We shall not be liable for any delay in delivery
caused by any circumstance beyond our control, customs etc
SHIPPING TIMES
I always aim to ship your goods within 24 hours of
a cleared payment being received by me. I usually send items next working day though
bear in mind I do take some time off on weekends. Midday cut off.
All goods have proof of posting so if they have not arrived when you
think they should have please contact me first before you leave feedback.
2nd class post is usually 2 or 3 days but can be up to 2 weeks. If
goods have not arrived please notify me before 28 days is up as many couriers
have a claim cut off time.
PAYMENT
Paypal for next day postage or personal cheque made out to John
Hewitt. Which will need 6 working days to clear before posting.
OTHER TERMS and CONDITIONS
1.We
cannot consider an item as lost until 15 working days (from the due date of
delivery) have elapsed in line with Royal Mail Conditions of postage. They
allow 15 working days for items to be returned to the sender in case
of any delivery problems.
2.
Occasionally Royal Mail or our Couriers are unable to deliver an item because
no-one was available to sign for the item, or the size of the item meant that
it could not be posted through your letterbox. If you’ve received a card
saying the carrier is holding an item for you, you must arrange to have it
redelivered to your address by contacting them. This is your
responsibility.
3.For
all parcels that are returned to as undelivered because no one was at home or
the buyer failed to contact the carrier to have the parcel re-delivered or
collected, we will refund the price of the product only and not the postage
charges as they have already been paid.
4.If
the item was with free or included Post & Packaging Charges, we will
deduct a post and packing charge from the total price to cover post
and packaging charges.
5.If
the item was sent by courier, we will deduct double the courier charges as we
get charged for sending the goods out and also for having the goods returned to
us.
6.Next
day courier items only. If the invoice asks for a telephone number this
is so the carrier's van driver has the option of contacting you in case of
delivery problems. No responsibility will be accepted for non deliveries if a
telephone number has not been given.
