Rick Orman - Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta - 1992 leadership campaign - XL button 3.5+ inches

Rick Orman started his career as a staffer in Peter Lougheed's government. Orman was first elected to the Alberta legislature for the riding of Calgary Montrose with Don Getty's PCs in 1986, holding his seat in 1989.

After Don Getty's retirement / ejection from politics, Rick Orman ran for PC leadership in 1992 and placed third behind winner Ralph Klein.

Orman ran again for PC leadership in 2011, losing to Allison Redford. Orman was a co-founder of the "Unite the Right" movement in Alberta, which brought the PCs and Wild Rose back together into the UCP.
