This listing is for an Octagon Hadley Collection Plate Frame.  The wood color is a medium oak.  The dark line you see in the upper left area is part of the grain of the wood and not a fracture line. The approximate outer dimension of the frame is 10 1/2-inches and the approximate opening of the center of each frame measured from the front is 7-inches.  This frame will nicely hold a plate that measures anywhere from 7 3/4-inches to 8 1/2-inches. One of the plates I've shown as an example has a diameter of 7 3/4-inches and the other is 8 1/2-inches.  PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the frame only and does not include either of the plates shown, although at the time of the listing, each of these plates is also listed for sale.  I've shown both the front and back of the frame and ask that you use the photos as your guide to shade and style.
