1930's Porcelier Art Deco, White Over-sink Porcelain Sconce & Matching Shade, New Wiring, Restored

This over-sink sconce was manufactured by Porcelier during the 1930's to early 1950's, the lifetime of the company.  However, the sconce is art deco in style so we think it is from the 30's.  The sconce has been carefully cleaned and all of the paint and dirt removed from the sides, and it is in very good condition.   The shade is a rarer one and has that "Machine Age" look.

The fixture has new wiring and the pull chain switch works smoothly and correctly.   We disassembled the switch, cleaned it, polished and lubed the contacts, and added a new nickel plated pull chain. The original porcelain knob at the end chain was missing when we got it, so we added a modern plastic one.   The unpolarized, ungrounded plug at the bottom of the fixture has been disconnected, but all of the parts are there and it can be made to work if it is needed

The mounting hardware (crossbar, threaded nipple, nickel plated mounting nut) is included in the sale.

The sconce has been tested, is guaranteed to work correctly, and to be as described.  Bulb is not included.

Dimensions:  5-3/4" high, 4-3/4" wide, projects 8-1/2" from the wall.
