Manufacturer's Introduction |
The new Lunamis achieves up to a 10% reduction compared to its predecessor. This reduction in weight has improved the ease of casting and maneuverability. The key factor behind this weight reduction is the adoption of the "carbon monocoque grip".This hollow structure carbon integrated molding grip significantly contributes to the lightness and sensitivity, which is a major difference from the previous model.
In addition to the technologies from the previous model such as "Muscle Carbon" and "High Power X," the new model incorporates "Nano Pitch," which contributes to increased strength. Furthermore, models below S96M feature the adoption of "Spiral X Core."The blanks are finished to rival those of the high-end model "Exsence Genos."
For spinning models S96M and below, Shimano has adopted the original "X Guide Aero."These lightweight guides minimize damage to the line, enabling smoother and more agile casting with minimal resistance. On the other hand, for spinning models S1000M and above, Shimano prioritizes strength and utilizes the "Titanium RVSG Double-Foot Guides."This setup ensures reliability not only for targeting trophy seabass but also for pursuing larger fish species. |
